can't you hear my cries?
you glance at my sorrow but don't see

I try to put my pain into words
hoping someone will hear and help me

but my screams go unheard
and I won't take the fake smile off my face

to show my tears
its not your fault

you don't ignore me on purpose
and I pretend I'm OK

worrying and sympathizing is my thing
you have your own gifts

I laughed and pushed away your help
when you offered

but its OK
God is using this to shape me

and I'll be OK
in his arms

I am strong now because he as taught me
